Bringing home a puppy is a major commitment. This page explains how the Kemara process works—from your first application through to puppy selection, preparation, collection and lifetime support.

Approved families may be offered an available position in a planned or confirmed litter. Pick positions, deposits, payment expectations and written terms are explained before anything is secured.
Once a pregnancy is confirmed and puppies arrive safely, approved families receive meaningful updates at important stages while the mother and litter remain our first priority.
Puppies are monitored from birth, receive age-appropriate care and are introduced gradually to handling, household activity, sounds, surfaces and positive routines. Temperament and development are observed over time.
Preferences are considered, but final placement is not based on colour or photographs alone. Structure, temperament, confidence, energy and the needs of each family all contribute to the final match.
Before collection or transport, families receive preparation guidance and the agreed records and documentation. Our relationship continues after handover and owners are encouraged to stay in contact throughout their dog’s life.
Availability is managed per breeding and may change as positions are secured.

Owners are encouraged to share updates, ask questions and remain connected throughout their dog’s life.
